Now before you start with "Good morning, blogger!
Wake up", hear me out! I am not keen on covering every product I buy on my
blog for the fear of creating a monotonous content. So when I bought 4 more
shades after buying L'oreal
Caresse lip stain 'Bella', I didn't review all of them. But this
one I just had to cover! It felt like a responsibility on my shoulders to cover
this shade for ladies who are afraid of trying color on their lips!
So let me introduce this shade to you ladies which can shake your beauty routine!
My
experience with L’oreal Shine Caresse Lip Stain “Venus”:
I declared my love for these lip stains HERE.
I was told by the SA that this is the least selling shade
in the lot. And, I seemed to have fallen in love with the odd! Honestly, it’s
nothing new!
The packaging screams luxurious and classy! It comes
packed in a subtle gold cardboard box with the necessary details like
ingredients, product information, expiry date, etc. mentioned on it. The petal
shaped applicator helps in even distribution of product. The formula is a cross
between a lipgloss and a lipstain, which explains why it’s hydrating and
long-staying at the same time. The glossiness wears after an hour or so, but
the color very much remains on the lips for another 2 hours or so. It’s very
impressive for such a shade. It also manages to survive light snacks and
drinks.
“Venus” is a sheer peachy pink shade, which adds just a
wash of color on my lips. Another thing about this particular shade is that it
doesn’t get darker upon application, like the rest of the shades. It’s a close
MLBB shade for me, topped with glossiness! Plus, it adds a polished look to my
face.
You might like “Venus” if
-
You have a fair-medium complexion. Skip it if
you have wheatish skintone. I think so!
-
Want healthy looking lips and crave hydration
for them.
-
Want a wash of color on your lips
-
Expect a good wear time from a light shade.
You might want to skip “Venus” if
-
You have pigmented lips.
-
You
are dusky.
-
You are not fond of sheer lip shades.
I have finished this twice! Wah! :( With the introduction of tempting lipsticks
every now and then, L’oreal should really launch a program like “Back 2 MAC”.
It’s becoming difficult for lipstick gluttons like me to manage lipstick
expenses. Also, I don’t have a heart for throwing these gorgeous looking
products in bin! Follow my post on what happened when I recently dumped old lipsticks of mine. It was a heart-wrenching affair! Returning lipsticks back for recycle and savings purpose will be
much better! Are you listening, L’oreal? Is anyone listening? O_O KOI
TOH SUNO MERI!
