My experience with it:

The new Maybelline gel eyeliner comes housed in a square shaped pot, which is pretty lightweight. The older version weighed heavy. It comes along with a slight angled brush. The quality of the brush with the older version was very soft but I found this new brush to be slightly hard.

I have had this gel eyeliner with me since 6-7 months and it has only dried up a bit. With the previous one, drying up of the gel was a major problem and I had to revive its form every month. The gel formula here is very soft and glides on easily without any pull. I apply two layers and I’m done. It dries quickly. It’s a much pigmented formula and appears proper Black in the first layer only.

I have very oily eyelids and watery eye corners. So, the pencil or gel formulas always smudge a teeny bit from the corners. But this one does not! I’m not saying I have tested it for 36 hours but I have worn it for more than 10 hours and it stayed put the entire day without any fading or wearing off any bit of it. Just make sure to store this upside down to prevent quick drying of this gel eyeliner.

This is another affordable and quality product from Maybelline, a brand which hardly fails us! I don’t use gel eyeliners much as I use liquid eyeliner mostly. Plus, I can’t get their application properly. Given the quantity, I think it can easily last you for more than 5-6 months. Anyone who has finished their Maybelline gel eyeliner?
