Product
Description:
Provides a high shine, gel-like finish. Extends the life of
the manicure.
My
experience:
When Lakme launched “Gel Effect nail polishes”, I had
a hard time choosing only one. They came at 400 bucks! I liked 4 shades and I
could not afford to buy all of them. But the gel finish was too pretty! What to do? What to do?
Comes “Inglot Gel Effect Top Coat” to my rescue!
It comes in transparent glass bottle housed in a
cardboard box, which mentions all the necessary details. The brush is long and
thin. I wish it was broader since application is a breeze for me then.
Coming to its performance, it actually provides a
rich glossy effect. Refer the pictures below. The difference between the normal
shine of a nail polish and the shine provided by it is clearly visible. Plus,
it extends the wear time greatly! Any nail polish starts to chip a bit from my
hands in a day or two. But it does not happen when I apply this. Even after
10-12 days, the nail polish looks almost freshly applied. The rich shine does
wear down after 4-5 days but the shine is still there.
Another advantage of this top coat is that it hides
minor imperfections in application of nail polish. I am bad at applying nail
paints and it masks the unevenness to a good extent. It dries fast.
See the glossy shine?
I’m glad I bought it!
