Hey everyone! Today, I'm going to review a newly launched cream eyeshadow!
Product
description:
Enriched
with natural waxes and silicone derivatives that impart incomparable
creaminess, the colour is dazzlingly deep and lasting, and simply refuses to
crease or fade for up to an amazing 10 hours*. Spherical powder particles lend
a silky soft feel and ensure that the shadow blends in easily and comfortably.
Illuminating pears are an added bonus for a touch of spectacular radiance.
How
to use:With
fingers, apply directly on clean eye lids.
My experience with this cream eyeshadow:
I
particularly love Maybelline tattoo eyeshadow “Bad to the bronze”. For me, its
texture is just perfect – soft, gives sufficient time to blend, sets fast and
stays on my oily lids with very minimal fading/creasing for more than 10+
hours, even in the hot humid weather!
The Deborah
Milano come packed in a cute tiny jar. Just see the dome shaped lid, so cute! The
shade name is pasted on a sticker at the bottom of the jar. Plus, the weight of
this is very light.
This
cream eyeshadow has a very soft texture, softer than Maybelline color tattoo
eyeshadow (review HERE) and stiffer than Benefit Cosmetics cream
eyeshadow(review HERE). It is such a gorgeous greyish black shade with silver shimmers. It has more than medium pigmentation which needs
to be built. Don’t expect a rich colour upon first swipe only.
The
texture is not too soft but the finish can still get patchy and it is because
it just does not dry down. I first applied it alone on my eyelids and as
expected, when I started to build it; the finish got patchy. I still waited for
10 minutes and it started to crease. Next time, I applied it upon a smudged
black pencil base with primer beneath and it fared beautifully. I need to pack
it less and it lasted longer. It stayed on for more than 6 hours with minimal
fading and creasing. With powder eyeshadows, it lasts longer!
Now,
coming to the major drawback; this cream eyeshadow just does not dry. So, if
you touch it even after 3 hours, the shimmer will come on your fingers.
For
Rs.450, I was expecting more than this good performance but since I got it for
Rs.250, I am not much disappointed. And,
a big thank you to Deborah Milano for this scheme! ^_^
