I was so happy when I got to know that Maybelline has
launched a new shade in one of my favourite eyeliners. I wish they had launched
more shades but okie! Let me be satisfied for now by one!

My
experience with it:
Maybelline hyper glossy eyeliners come in a sleek
bottle, with a good length handle brush and I experience no discomfort with it.
Even the bristles of the brush are tightly packed which lets you make a thin or
thick line, as per your preference.
It comes off as a solid navy blue shade (with teeny
meeny blue shimmers which you can see only with microscopic eyes) in just one
swipe and takes some 5-10 seconds to dry completely. I’m not impressed with the
shade but since its Maybelline, I got tempted. It looks almost black. Don’t
worry of getting a flat matte finish upon drying. It gives a glossy finish. The
staying power is awesome! It stays on for the entire day with no flaking issues
unless you rub your eyes hard. It’s water resistant as well as waterproof. I
put on my hand swatch under tap water for more than 2 minutes at high speed and
it didn’t run down.

Maybelline Hyper glossy Liquid Eyeliner is a navy blue shade with tiny blue
shimmers.

The pigmentation is very good. It comes off as a solid, full opacity shade in
the first swipe only.

The brush is really thin, which I like since I like to draw neat thin lines on
daily basis. It has really fine
bristles.

The length of the handle too is good. It doesn’t give me a pain while applying.

The liner dries fast.

It gives a really glossy finish.

It’s water-resistant and water proof too.

The staying power again is awesome. I have very oily eye lids and it stayed put
without any flaking for more than 12 hours.

I have finished more than 4-5 bottles of Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Eyeliner ‘Black’ (Review HERE). I am not impressed with the shade because although the close up pictures differentiates it from black, in real it looks like black only. That said, the quality is awesome! I hope Maybelline introduces more shades in this range kyuki yeh dil maange more!
