Hey everyone!
Do you ever feel confused as to with which eyeshadow to go
when going for a bright lipstick? At least I do! But I have found its perfect
companion now! This beautiful pearly eyeshadow that goes with almost every
bright lipstick I have, without going over the top.
Inglot pearl eyeshadows are known for having a pearly sheen
with very fine shimmer. After matte, I find pearl finish the best. Matte
texture can be chalky and dry at many-a-times but pearl finish eyeshadows have
a very smooth texture most of the times.
My experience:
I am so glad for having purchased this eyeshadow. Inglot
pearl eyeshadow “397” is a beautiful and gorgeous peach shade, with fine
shimmer and a good pearly sheen. It comes in a small cardboard casing and it’s
held in with a plastic case inside. I did have the empty round palettes but since
Inglot became bored of them and decides to discontinue them, they aren’t of
much use to me now. I haven’t yet brought the empty square palette till now but
now I feel the need of buying one soon. I wish with the price hike, the
packaging could also have become better.
The texture of the eyeshadow is very smooth. It is not at
all dry which is why it glides smoothly onto the eyelids. It blends easily. There
are hardly and fall out issues with this. But I still like to tap my brush
every time, to ward off the excess powder. Also make sure to apply a
transparent powder around the under eye area, so that if in case there’s fall
out, you can just wipe out the excess later and not spoil your face makeup. The
fall out gets wiped off with the translucent powder. The pigmentation of the
eyeshadow is also really good. I don’t need to pack it on my eyelids again and
again to get a solid color payoff.
I have used this eyeshadow without a primer, but with a
foundation and powder underneath on my oily eye lids and it lasted on for more
than 5-6 hours with really minimal creasing. Creasing means when the eyeshadow
creates stripes in the folds. It happens mainly on oily eye lids because the
skin’s natural oils mix with the eyeshadow and so it forms line. So, yes! The
creasing was really less as I could see it only with zooming my eyes. The next
time I wore it with a primer and it held itself much well. The intensity was
still the same after these long hours. Only did when I wore it for more than 10 hours, fading was there.
If you have a fair-medium skin tone, you should definitely
try this eyeshadow. For darker skin tones, I suggest something deeper. This
eyeshadow works great for me with bright as well as light lipsticks. It just
gives a very clean look with deep and bright lipsticks.
In short,
-
Inglot freedom system eyeshadow pearl “397” is a
beautiful warm peachy shade.
-
It has very fine shimmer but a pearly shine.
-
The texture is very smooth, which is why it
blends so easily.
-
There are minimum fall outs with this one.
-
The pigmentation is really good. 2-3 pats do the
work.
-
The staying power is good, even on oily eyelids.
Without a primer, it lasts for more than 5-6 hours with minimal creasing but no
fading of the intensity. I am guessing that on non-oily eyelids, it will last
longer.
^ These are the pictures I took about after some 10 hours of wear and as you can see, it has majorly faded, which is quite ok for my very oily eyelids
