New Launch: L’oreal Paris Caresse Wet Shine Stain “Bella” Review and Swatches




When I heard that these stains have been launched in India, I literally went numb for a minute and a little mad because it just felt hard to believe, you know like Flat50% on Kazo with good stock being sold.. If that didn’t make any sense to you, it’s Ok..I just said I went a little mad!

My experience with L’oreal Paris Caresse Wet Shine Stain “Bella”:
To start with the packaging, it’s luxurious and drool worthy. It comes in a gold metallic packaging, which is easily prone to fingerprints. I don’t mind that. The applicator is a petal shaped applicator with a dense hole in middle where the excess product collects. It very much helps in the even application of the lip colour. The texture is what I love even more! It’s a watery liquid but glossy and hydrating at the same time. As said by L’oreal, it combines the glossy formula of a lipgloss and watery formula of a lip stain. Lip stains can be very drying in winters but with this hydrating and glossy formula, not anymore! I don’t feel any stickiness with this. My lips start to crave for moisture after some 3 hours, after which I just top this with a *ude lipgloss and I’m good to go for another 2-3 hours. The pigmentation is another plus. It doesn’t give an opaque finish for pigmented lips but still coats them nicely. Even the staying power is amazing! It stayed on me for more than 5 hours with a full meal, chips, chocolates, drinks, fruits..Boy! I eat a lot! The intensity had faded but the tint was still there on my lips and evenly! It hadn’t got patchy. The shade “bella” is a pretty reddish coral on my lips and a soft pink in the tube. In fact, the stain comes out more deep on my lips than on my arms..So, watch out for that! I normally don’t wear such shades in my everyday life but since the finish of this stain is just right with a hint of glossiness, I don’t mind it wearing it every day and anywhere. The shade is very versatile and will suit even dusky skin tones pretty nicely. 







Pros:
-            Luxurious gold packaging.
-            Petal shaped applicator that helps in even application of lip stain.
-            Watery glossy and comfortable texture.
-            Buildable pigmentation.
-            Amazing staying power.
-            Non-sticky
-            Versatile shade

Cons:
-            Lips feel dry after some 3 hours, So, I just use a gloss over it.
-            Not a con of this shade, but I’m really disappointed as to why the other International shades in this range haven’t been launched. Many of them are much more pigmented.
      Every shade turns darker on lips.. So, girls with pigmented lips will have quite a problem choosing the shades.
