If you visit my blog regularly, you must know how
much I raved about Mogra’s scent HERE and HERE. I simply love its fragrance. Every
time I visit a flower shop, I pick up at least one gajra (mogra) and keep sniffing it till I retire to sleep. Talk of madness!Ha! :P
But since I wasn’t satisfied with the very low
staying power in TBS products, I started to search for new products with mogra
scents and this is how I landed on these!
Both of these come in neat transparent (I love
transparent bottles. It lets me know how much product is in there) bottles with
a lovely golden cap. Both of them come with a plastic stopper so that there’s
no product wastage.
The shower gel
is an almost transparent liquid. The scent is heavenly! I have no idea how Madurai smells, but this smells
strongly of mogra! I can only sniff the combination of light jasmine and heavy
mogra. The scent is blissful indeed! It’s so relaxing. It’s thick in consistency. Since it lathers well, the
quantity will last for quite a time.
I am having a little dry skin these days and it moisturizes my skin nicely. But I still prefer using a moisturizer
afterwards. Used alone, the scent lasts for only some time after the bath.
Sigh! I wish the scent lasted more longer. Given a choice, I would rather re-purchase this than TBS Moringa Shower gel because the cost may be more but since it lathers really well, this will last much longer. Also, I like the scent of this one more.
Now, the body
massage oil smells strongly of mustard
oil (eww!). There is no doubt in it because it contains Black Sesame Oil as
85% in quantity. Now, I need to check the ingredients of bath products too! The
smell is such a turn off. Other than that, it moisturizes very well. But that even a plain olive oil would do. I brought this solely for the scent.
That said, I'm glad Forest Essentials makes smaller sized products. This way I can first try out the products to my satisfaction before going for the full sized ones. I wish all products in FE had smaller versions.
I’ll
finish the oil by using it as foot oil every night. I’m aware of the fact that
I am very negligent regarding my feet but I found the proof yesterday when I
could scrub my one foot with the other.. Gulp!
