Before I begin with the individual reviews, I’ll like
to mention that the lengths of these brushes are really good. They fit into my
hands easily, allowing me to work easily. They are also light in weight.
Buffing
Brush: This is my most used brush out of all the four. It’s quite
a dense brush. I use it for blending out my liquid and cream foundation. And,
it works brilliantly! I have a face with unforgiving acne scars and open pores.
It not just blends my foundation seamlessly but also minimizes my pores to a
great extent. This effect is majorly because it’s very dense and quite fluffy. I
also use it sometimes for applying powder on my face when I need a softer
coverage from my powder. The size is such that it fits easily into my hands. When
the dollar value depreciates, I’m going to buy more of this brush!

Contour
Brush: I love this brush! The bristles are very soft and the
density of the brush is such that it fits right onto the hollow of my cheeks
which works great for contouring my face. I also use it to apply highlighter on
my cheekbones and then, blend it. It works good there too. This also works
great for using and blending out the cream blushes because its dense. When I
use this for contouring with a powder base, I use kabuki brush afterwards for a
seemless finish. This is because it’s not very fluffy, so application is not
fully upto the mark. But still, this I heart this brush a lot!
Pointed Foundation
Brush: This is my least favourite out of all.
When I used this with liquid foundation, the result was a little
streaky. Also, since it’s small, it was too time consuming for using as a
foundation brush all over the face. The thing with this brush is even if I use
it to conceal/apply foundation, I need another brush to buff over, so as to
diminish the streaky lines created with it
Detailer
Brush: Although
this brush is nice, I have hardly used it. It’s nice for working in areas where
you need specific concealing. It also works nicely for filling in the lipstick
after you have lined your lips.
Out of all, I totally love Buffing brush and Contour
Brush. And, these are worth their price!
And, just see the beautiful black casing!
Highly
Recommended!

PS: I had bought these brushes around 2 months back from "iherb" website along with some other brushes. My total bill was for Rs.2300 and I had to pay Rs.1700 as customs duty!!
