I installed “whatsapp” in my phone around one month back and its impact has been such that my phone hardly rings now (does it even rings? Goes to check the phone volume). Everyone just “whatsapp”! And, God Forbid if you logout from whatsapp without replying to their messages, you’ll be attacked with all the bombs, knives, hammers, pistols they have in whatsapp. It is fun but I think I’ll be deleting it soon to remember my friends’ voices! Only the cute emoticons hold me back every time :P

Oriflame Lip Impact Crayons are the latest lip crayons in the Indian market and when I saw the price of these, I ordered one soon!

Oriflame Lip Impact Crayon “Striking Rose” comes in a simple packaging but a sharpenable one! There’s no twist up mechanism here. One needs to sharpen the product when it gets finished. I didn’t know this until I ordered it. I tried sharpening it with the two sharpeners I have but it didn’t sharp properly, which means I’ll have to buy an oriflame sharpener now too! Added cost!

“Striking rose” is a beautiful deep pink shade with minute shimmers and a high glossy finish.

Now, another disappointment is the bullet. It’s too soft. Even if you touch it with your nails, it’ll break into a line. See the picture. Even in this not so hot weather, I store it in a refrigerator. God forbid if I have to carry it in my bag, what havoc will it create! Lipstick Sundae in my bag! Apply it with a very light hand.

The texture is extremely smooth and glides onto lips like butter. It fills in your lip lines and gives an illusion of fuller lips. The pigmentation is insane! One swipe and you are done. It’ll easily cover pigmented lips. I like to apply it with a lip brush, using just one swipe and then, spreading it over. I’m not a fan of high shine in pigmented bright lip shades.

Moving onto another disappointment is its staying power. It transfers to everything! On its own, it stays for around 3 hours (didn’t wore more than that). With snacks, in between it disappears completely and unevenly. It can also bleed a little.
