“Schwarzkopf Professional
Hair Growth shampoo” was recommended to my mom by her hair cutter for bringing
volume in hair and he also claimed that this does really works on promoting
hair growth. Of course, the second claim was blah and I persuaded her to buy it
only for the first claim. I had developed a bald patch on front (long time
back) due to tight ponytails and only I know that how much I had to work to
banish that bald patch. Phew!
What
the Company Claims:
·
Schwarzkopf Hair Growth Shampoo activates the roots of thinning hair and
reduces premature hair loss
·
The 3 key ingredients (Taurine, Carnitine Tartrate and Echinacea)
complement each other to promote hair growth
·
Provides high-energy nutrients to the hair follicle and improves hair
vitality
·
Schwarzkopf Hair Growth Shampoo provides high-energy nutrients to
minimize premature hair loss
·
It creates volume at the same time increasing hair density
·
This shampoo leaves the hair clean with a fuller look
· It is suitable for fine, thinning and
nutrient-poor hair
I have oily scalp and dry hair. The
texture is frizzy and wavy.
Moving on to this shampoo,
-
It has a flip flop opening and tight
one. So, no chances of leakage.
-
It’s a colourless shampoo and I love the
mild fragrance.
-
This shampoo lathers really well and
this is the reason why it lasted for 10 washes.
-
It does really add volume to the hair.
In fact, my mom has really thin hair and she could see visible volume lift in
her hair by using this. Of course, I saw it too!
-
It defines the layers of my hair very
nicely, which I see only after using an ACV rinse
-
It leaves my dry hair really soft and to
a good extent, frizz free but I did felt the need of using a little serum.
Now, if you want results like this but the price
hurts (like me!), You can use ACV rinse. The only glitch in using it is the
smell!
My mom has been using this shampoo from past 4-5
months and no, there has been no hair growth! According to the main “hair
growth” claim, this should get just an average rating.
But leaving that claim aside, this works really
well. I had used Sunsilk Pink long time back and remember it partially giving
the same volume effect. I’m going to try it again and will let you know, if
what I remember is correct!
