I’m so glad for having this palette. And before I
begin with my review for this, I really hope that in the near future Sleek
Makeup introduces refills for our favourite shades or customized eye shadow
palette. Wouldn’t that be great? :D
My experience with this palette:
Sleek ‘Oh So Special’ Eye shadow palette has not
even a single color which I wouldn’t use ever. The sleek packaging, a
transparent sheet where the shade colors are written over it and the beautiful
shades only enhance its glory.
The two neutral colors ‘Bow’ and ‘The Mail’ are ones
which I use a lot for often tapping them on my under eye area to give a good
coverage for my dark circles which they evidently do.
In general, all colors are very nicely pigmented.
Though the darker shades have a little fall out, but nothing major in it. They
all come nicely packed on the lids including the lighter ones. They are really
soft and blend very nicely. I have never found them moving around my eye area
and they have stayed on my lids for more than 4 hours without a primer with
little fading. With a primer, they go on for more than 7 hours.
I use the black shade to set my kajal on my
waterline too. I have even used some shades with wet eyeliner brush to draw
thin lines and they work great that way too.
Shades description:-
Bow: Works great as a highlighting color. It’s it’s
pink undertones skin color and isn’t chalky at all.
Organza: It’s a golden metallic color with some
peach tones.
Ribbon: Love it! It’s a matte pink eye shadow which
I use it mostly as a blush.
Gift Basket: Bronze brown eyeshadow.
Glitz: So pretty! Super smooth! Blackish Gray with
hint of blue undertones.
Celebrate:
Dark Purple eye shadow with black undertones. B’ful shade!
Pamper: Peachy pink eyeshadow. I usually like to use
it in the inner corner of my eyes to make my eyes open. Somehow, this doesn’t
works too great as a blush.
Gateau: Love the name though have no idea what it
means! :D Difficult to describe this shade. It’s a golden metallic color with
light purple undertones :-s
The Mail: I use this shade a lot as an overall lid
color or to blend the eye shadows. It’s a yellow based skin color.
Boxed: Pretty Pretty! Soft brown eye shadow!
Wrapped up: Still finding ways to use it! Dark
purple shade with brown color.
Noir: Dark matte black. Goes very smooth with
minimal fall out.
All in all, I love this palette and I seriously hope
that Sleek Makeup starts selling our refills for their palette at 1$ each.
Wow!:D
